Cellar door open 7 days: Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm, Sunday 10am to 5pm. The grounds are ideal for a family picnic, with plenty of shade, tables and chairs, a rotunda, a giant chess set and lawn games for the whole family.

Wineries
Stanton & Killeen
Seven generations and 143 years old, their vineyards produce outstanding fruit from 90-year-old Shiraz vines. Stanton & Killeen Wines cover over 30 acres of fertile land in the region of Rutherglen. Head to their cellar door to try exclusive, unique wines that are only available to try and purchase at the winery itself.
Anderson Winery
One of the smaller wineries in Rutherglen, but they boast a large range of wines. Howard Anderson has over 55 years’ experience in the wine industry, including 50 years making sparkling wines. His daughter Christobelle studied winemaking in Adelaide and has worked in several wine regions in France.
Gooramadda Olives
Gooramadda Olives grow olives and use them to make some of Australia’s best table olives, extra virgin olive oil, infused extra virgin olive oils and divine dressings. They also grow capers and caperberries and make delicious chutneys and tapenades. Definitely a place to visit.
Breweries & Distilleries
Bridge Road Brewery
Bridge Road HQ features a 340-seat taproom, pizzeria and a 25HL brewhouse. You’ll find Bridge Road beer gracing taps, fridges and eskies from Bermagui to Bangkok. Its success, built on hard work by Ben and Maria, reflects their strong values: independence, authenticity and quality.
Black Dog Brewery
A craft brewery launched in 2011 at Taminick Cellars winery near Glenrowan. Their beers are hand crafted in small batches from premium malted barley, hops and yeast strains with pure Warby Range water, using traditional techniques and no preservatives.
Backwoods Distilling Co.
Founded by Leigh and Bree Attwood in 2017. Both raised in North East Victoria, they returned to the region after years of city living, working and travelling, and turned a love of whisky, science and craftiness into a distillery.
Barking Owl Distilling Co.
A small distillery in a 1950s shearing shed in beautiful Wooragee, nestled between Beechworth and Yackandandah. Established in 2018, it produces small-batch gin, vodka, liqueurs and brandy with a distinctly local bent, made grain to glass from local raw grains, fruit and botanicals.

Nestled on the main street of the historic town of Rutherglen, GRACE. bar + eatery by Milkin Kitchen is a unique dining space that brings together modern concrete fixtures with vintage timber furnishings, a blend of new and old.

The Pickled Sisters
Pre-prepared meals to go, available for pick up and local delivery, plus a large range of cheeses, charcuterie and local produce to purchase.
Jones
The restaurant at Jones Winery is a delight: a low-key room with polished concrete floor and mismatched antique furniture, with a menu of classic French bistro dishes such as chicken and pork terrine, and confit duck with braised lentils.
Provenance
Opened in 2009, Provenance has received many accolades and awards, including two hats in the Good Food Guide. Chef Michael Ryan was voted Chef of the Year in the Age Good Food Guide in 2013.
Barnawartha Star Hotel

Ironbark Tavern & Bistro
A beautiful old double brick building in the heart of historic Chiltern. Originally the town’s saddlery, the existing building was constructed in 1869. After the gold rush boom ended there was a mass exodus to the bigger cities and the hotel was delicensed in 1941.

The “biggest little” home and garden décor store in North East Victoria, situated in historic Chiltern in one of the first country stores built in the 1850s. An eclectic range of indoor and garden ornaments, plants, occasional furniture, kitchenware, napery and bed linen.
